Álvaro Mora

BIOGRAPHY:

Born in Moguer (Huelva) in 1998, he began his musical training at the age of nine at the “Javier Perianes” Professional Conservatory of Music in Huelva. After completing his studies in flamenco guitar, he continued his training at the “Rafael Orozco” Higher Conservatory of Music in Córdoba and later expanded his academic background with a Master’s degree in Flamenco Research and Analysis from Pablo de Olavide University in Seville.

His artistic career began at a very young age as a student and second guitarist under Rafael Riqueni. Since then, he has performed at major national and international festivals and venues, collaborating with leading figures in flamenco and participating in high-profile productions and tours, such as “Authentic Flamenco” at the Teatro Real.

Among the accolades he has received, the 2022 Bordón Minero from the Cante de las Minas International Festival stands out—considered one of the most prestigious awards in flamenco guitar—in addition to other honors earned throughout his career.
