BIOGRAPHY:
Ángel Flores is a flamenco guitarist and winner of the National Guitar Prize at the 24th National Flamenco Art Competition in Córdoba in 2025. A native of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), he has been involved in the world of guitar since his early years and found in Córdoba the environment to pursue his professional training, specializing in flamenco guitar at the Rafael Orozco Conservatory of Music. His playing style combines technique, sensitivity, and a distinct artistic personality.
Throughout his career, he has worked as an accompanist and soloist in tablaos, dance companies, and on national and international stages. He has been a member of the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid and the international tour Authentic Flamenco, in addition to collaborating with artists such as Marco Flores, Manuel Liñán, and Jesús Carmona.
In the realm of flamenco singing, his collaboration with Mayte Martín on *In illo tempore* stands out, as he participated as a guitarist in the presentation of this project.
After receiving the Córdoba National Guitar Award, Ángel Flores embarked on a new chapter with his first solo album. The album brings together original compositions he has developed over the years and reflects his evolution as a guitarist and creator. It is a work that blends his experience in tablaos and dance companies, his training, and his personal vision of the flamenco guitar.
