Marina Perea

Marina Perea (Malaga, 1989) began her training at La Lupi Flamenco School and graduated in Flamenco Dance Choreography and Performance from the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Málaga in 2011. She moved to Madrid, where she integrated the flamenco ensembles of tablaos such as Villa Rosa, Las Carboneras, Casa Patas and Centro Cultural Flamenco, among others. She took part in shows of La Lupi’s flamenco company, such as Siete historias hacen una vida or Carmen, at festivals such as Festival de Jerez or the Bienal de Sevilla. She is also a member of the companies of Juan de Juan, José Porcel and the Spanish Flamenco Ballet, touring internationally. She has earned several awards, such as the second prize in the Flamenco Dance Competition at the tablao Villa Rosa (2012), and was a semi-finalist in the Las Minas Competition in 2019. In 2022 she released her first solo show, El Discurso. She is currently part of singer María Pelae’s tour and combines her career as a dancer with stage management and stage direction.
