El Peli is a young flamenco guitarist born in Alicante in 1998. He started playing as a child and soon stood out for his skills and sensitivity. In 2020 he moved to Madrid, where he toured the most important tablaos in the capital, such as Villa Rosa, Las Carboneras, Corral de la Morería, Flamenco de Leones and Centro Cultural Flamenco, among others, while simultaneously consolidating as a guitarist in multiple dance shows. His name has rocketed in recent years, and he is now considered one of the heavyweights of today’s flamenco guitar scene. His elegance and virtuosity have led him to accompany artists as great as Alfonso Losa, Jesús Carmona or José Maya, among many others. He has just released Me lo sopla el viento, his first album in collaboration with the Malaga-born flamenco singer Al-Blanco (1998), a live recording that shows his deep understanding of the guitar, his love for flamenco and his contemporary vision of the genre. His guitar can paint the most beautiful and ethereal melodies while supporting all the rhythmic weight of the most complex and impressive dance shows in flamenco today.
