Antonio González Reyes was born in Chipiona (Cádiz), on 24 May 1999. From age 11 he was interested in guitar playing and began his training under teacher Juan Gómez. Over the years, he deepened his learning with maestros from Jerez, such as José Luis Balao, Manuel Lozano ‘El Carbonero’, Juan Diego Mateos, José Ignacio Franco or Niño Manuel (Sanlúcar de Barrameda), among others. In 2019 the figure of maestro Manolo Sanlúcar triggered a watershed in his career, when he was welcomed into his home to receive his lessons. In 2021 he graduated with honours in Flamenco Guitar from Conservatorio Superior de Música “Rafael Orozco” in Córdoba. He has worked with renowned artists such as Arcángel, Belén López, Carmen La Talegona, Eduardo Guerrero, El Choro or Rosario La Tremendita. He is currently in demand in the main tablaos in Madrid and combines his artistic work with teaching at the Centro Superior Música Creativa for the Official Master’s Degree in Flamenco, rubbing shoulders with artist teachers such as Arcángel, Dani de Morón or Josémi Carmona.
