Pedro Córdoba

Pedro Córdoba, born in Sabadell (Barcelona), was trained in Classical ballet, Bolero and Flamenco schools, Spanish dance, and Contemporary dance. He graduated from Institut del Teatre in Spanish Dance. He began his career with Enrique Morente in the premiere of Omega. He later worked as a soloist with the Compañía Andaluza de Danza (Andalusian Dance Company), directed by José Antonio, in Seville. For four years he was a member of Eva la Yerbabuena’s company and collaborated with Javier Barón, Joaquín Grilo, Javier Latorre and Los Ulen.

He was the principal dancer of the Somorrostro company and featured in concerts with Chicuelo, Miguel Poveda and Duquende. He performed at the Bienal de Sevilla and the Corral del Carbón in Granada. He has danced in the main tablaos in Spain, such as Los Gallos, El Cordobés, Las Carboneras and Corral de la Morería. He served as choreographer and soloist in the show Contraste with Juan Ogalla and Daniel Navarro, and worked with Vicente Amigo in Un momento en el sonido and Paseo de Gracia, among others. He has also worked for four years in Rafaela Carrasco’s company. 

He released his own company’s production Del 2mil y pico at multiple international festivals and Otros Genios in Alburquerque. He has choreographed shows such as Eterno Picasso and Pallápaká. After touring the most important circuits worldwide, he currently teaches at Amor de Dios and manages the Centro Cultural Flamenco Madrid.
